Are you ready to make the most of this summer and explore the great outdoors in a whole new way? Join us for a monthly "Spiritual WALK & TALK" with the inspiring Rev. Meghan. We'll be taking our spiritual practice outside on a walk near and around Point Ruston and Point Defiance.

For the August Walk & Talk, we will meet at Owen Beach in Point Defiance Park, and walk to the Vashon Ferry terminal, where we will have our spiritual chat on the round-trip ride to Vashon Island, and then walk back to Owen Beach parking. (The cost of a round-trip walk on ferry ticket is $6.20 for adults and $3.10 for seniors.)

• There are many parking places along the waterfront going toward Commencement Bay and the Chinese Reconciliation Park.

• Dogs are welcome on a leash with the owner taking responsibility to mind interactive behavior.

• Remember to bring a day pack with your water bottle, towel, sunscreen, and snacks of choice.
