Anniversary Celebration & Rev. Meghan's 70th Birthday

Join us for a joyful double celebration — 4 years together as a community and Rev. Meghan's 70th birthday (celebrated early since she'll be away on 7/17). Cake and lunch will be shared, and a gratitude card table will be set up for sharing your love for Rev. Meghan. Birthday donations may be made through her Facebook Birthday fundraiser. Tacoma Pride Festival – Volunteer at Our Booth!

Join us in celebrating Tacoma Pride and uplifting our LGBTQ+ community with presence, joy, and colorful connection!

We’ll be hosting a booth at the Tacoma Pride Festival on Saturday, July 11, and we’d love your help throughout the day. Volunteers will help hand out our beloved bead necklaces, offer free hugs, and share the spirit of Unity with everyone who stops by.

Tacoma PorchFest – Volunteer with Us!

Tacoma PorchFest is a free, walkable celebration of Tacoma’s neighborhoods, featuring live music performed on porches throughout the community. Its mission is to build connection, uplift local talent, and celebrate the unique spirit of Tacoma.

Unity of South Sound is joining the fun! We’ll have a booth set up in the Spire parking lot on Saturday, July 18th, and we’re looking for volunteers to help make the day shine.

Join us on Sunday, August 9, for Art on the Ave—Tacoma’s largest annual art festival celebrating creativity, culture, and community!

Spanning 6th Avenue from Alder Street to State Street, this free, all-day event features:

• 🎨 Over 200 artists and vendors

• 🍔 Food trucks & beer gardens

• 🧒 A fun kids’ zone

• ✨ And so much more!

Unity of South Sound will be hosting a booth throughout the day and we need your help! Volunteer for a 2-hour shift and then enjoy the rest of the day soaking up art, music, and community connection.

Annual Church Picnic – August 23 at Franklin Park!

Mark your calendar and bring your picnic spirit! Join us for our Annual Church Picnic on Saturday, August 23, immediately following Sunday service, at beautiful Franklin Park.
